5 shades darker

Don't you hate summer? All that skin colour that you slowly and steadily accumulated all through the torturous winters using moisturizers and what not, all gone within the flick of an eye-lid? It's like 4 days into hardcore summer with sweltering temperatures of 32°C (sorry, Parisian 32°C are nearly unbearable) and I have bronzed rather evenly. Gone are the days of fairness I say. I support Aiswarya Rai in her claim that all skin tones are beautiful. And if I have bronzed, so be it. Bronze is beautiful.

Geez.. the profile pic change and this post are not related at all, are they? You don't look 5 shades darker at all if that's a recent pic. What the hell are you talking about?

BTW, nice profile pic!

Honestly gotta agree with Krish on this one. You call this darkening? Puh-leeze! Or is this some girlish vanity? I must also grudgingly agree that it is a nice profile pic.

Krish, Gandalf -> Honestly I'd think you both are hounding me if I didn't know better. Thanks for the compliments on the profile pic, however... and yes, it is recent. And I had to "fill light" in Picasa in order to be able to see me. And yes, I did darken about 5 shades in these 4 days. Ask my in-laws if you have doubts. And no, it's not vanity. It's the truth. You do feel darker and dirtier in summer, don't you? It's a collective effect of all the sun and the sweat. Urgh. When it was winter, I couldn't wait for warmer days. Now that they're here, I wish they'd reverse just a teeny bit. The grass is greener on the other side! But well, no wonder then, that Fall n Spring are my favorite seasons in that order. Thanks for the comments, boy and sorry for the elongated reply. Keep visiting!
